These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations for booking and receiving services. By booking or purchasing any service through this website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.

1. About My Services

Jessa Dawn Concierge Services provides professional lifestyle concierge, personal assistance, transportation, home support, pet care, event planning, business support, and related services throughout Beaumont, Edmonton, and surrounding communities.

My goal is to provide dependable, personalized service while helping simplify your daily life.

2. Booking Services

Appointments are considered confirmed once payment or any required deposit has been received.

Some services may require additional information before your booking can be finalized.

I reserve the right to decline requests that fall outside the scope of my services or cannot be completed safely.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Many services are offered at a flat rate.

Services listed as "Starting At" are estimates only and may vary depending on:

  • Time required
  • Distance travelled
  • Size or complexity of the project
  • Number of locations or stops
  • Additional client requests
  • Required materials or supplies

Whenever possible, you'll receive approval before any additional charges are incurred.

4. Travel Fees

My primary service area includes:

  • Beaumont
  • Edmonton
  • Sherwood Park
  • Leduc
  • St. Albert
  • Nisku
  • Devon
  • Spruce Grove
  • Stony Plain

Travel within 20 km of Beaumont is included for most applicable services.

Travel beyond 20 km is charged at:

$0.75 per kilometre

Parking fees, tolls, admission fees, ferry costs, or other travel expenses required to complete your service are the responsibility of the client.

Extended travel throughout Alberta and Western Canada may be available by custom quote.

5. Purchases

Unless otherwise specified, clients are responsible for the cost of all requested purchases, including but not limited to:

  • Groceries
  • Gifts
  • Pet supplies
  • Home organization products
  • Event supplies
  • Decorations
  • Household items
  • Any requested merchandise

Service fees cover my time and expertise only.

6. Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

Invoices must be paid by the due date shown.

Failure to pay may result in cancellation of future appointments or refusal of service.

7. Deposits

Some larger projects, event services, or custom bookings may require a deposit.

Deposit amounts will always be discussed before confirming your booking.

Unless otherwise stated, deposits are non-refundable.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

I understand that plans change.

Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be rescheduled without penalty.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service fee.

No-shows may be charged the full amount of the booked service.

9. Waiting Time

For transportation, appointments, deliveries, or similar services:

The first 15 minutes of waiting time is included.

Additional waiting time is billed at:

$15 per additional 15-minute interval

10. Home Access

If a service requires access to your home, it is your responsibility to provide accurate and secure access instructions.

I am not responsible for delays or missed appointments resulting from inaccessible properties or incorrect information.

11. Pet Services

For the safety of everyone involved, clients agree that pets receiving services:

  • Are safe to handle
  • Have any behavioural concerns disclosed in advance
  • Have current veterinary information available in case of emergency

I reserve the right to refuse service if I believe a pet presents a safety risk.

Should emergency veterinary care become necessary, every reasonable effort will be made to contact you first. Any veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the client.

12. Transportation Services

When transportation services involve a client's vehicle, the client confirms that the vehicle is legally insured, roadworthy, and safe to operate.

Passengers must comply with all applicable traffic laws, including seat belt requirements.

Child transportation requires that an appropriate child restraint be provided and correctly installed by the client.

13. Property & Personal Belongings

I take great care while working in your home or handling your belongings.

However, I cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Existing damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by unsafe conditions
  • Loss resulting from inaccurate instructions provided by the client

Clients are encouraged to secure valuables before appointments.

14. Privacy & Confidentiality

Trust is an essential part of my business.

All personal information, addresses, schedules, passwords, conversations, documents, and access information shared during the course of my services will remain confidential unless disclosure is required by law or authorized by you.

15. Business Support Services

Resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, administrative assistance, research, consulting, and similar services are completed using the information provided by the client.

While every effort is made to provide high-quality work, I cannot guarantee:

  • Employment
  • Interviews
  • Promotions
  • Business growth
  • Marketplace sales
  • Social media engagement
  • Search engine rankings

Clients are responsible for reviewing all documents before submitting them.

16. Event Planning Services

I provide planning, coordination, shopping, setup, and support services.

I am not responsible for the performance, availability, pricing, or actions of third-party vendors.

Clients remain responsible for venue contracts, permits, catering, entertainment, and vendor agreements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

17. Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • Safety is compromised
  • Illegal or unethical requests are made
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior occurs
  • The requested work falls outside my expertise or agreed scope of service

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

I am not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services.

19. Privacy

Any information collected through this website is used solely for providing requested services, processing bookings, communicating with clients, and improving my services.

Your personal information will never be sold to third parties.

20. Updates to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The most current version will always be available on this website.
